I proposed to my wife on Dec. 23, 2001. Originally, I was planning to propose at the ice-skating rink at PPG Place, but it was raining that day. We both graduated from Pitt, so I told her I wanted to take her on tour of the Nationality Rooms. As we were walking across the Commons Room, I sat her on the throne chair and asked her if she would marry me. She said yes, and now we have twins at Pitt.
