Kellie Skweres

I was working at Roy Rogers inside the Cathedral of Learning, which happened to be my first job out of high school. I worked there throughout my undergraduate tenure at Pitt. I had just been through a bad breakup, and a young man I went high school with walked in. He cracked a few jokes and made me laugh—then asked me out on a date! I really didn't want to go, but my best friend, who also worked there, convinced me to go. Long story short, I did, and we've been married now for 28 years. We had our ceremony at Heinz Memorial Chapel, which is as close as we could get to the Cathedral, where our relationship began! #Hail2Pitt
