My story began as a Freshman at Carnegie Mellon University as an art major. I chose the Commons Room in Pitt’s Cathedral of Learning as a place to sketch the numerous arches, alcoves and castle-like spaces. These pencil drawings were then assembled into a very large collage that measured over 8 feet tall. It was on display at CMU's Warner Hall for a period of time. I have the drawing rolled up and a photograph of it.
