Joye Neff

My favorite memory of the Cathedral is from singing in the Heinz Chapel Choir from 1958 to 1961. We practiced Monday through Thursday each week from 4 to 5 p.m. On the elevator on the way down to the ground floor after practice, we would sing with the sound reverberating through the Cathedral. When the elevator operator opened the doors on the ground floor, there would always be a crowd of people, clapping as they awaited our arrival! What a great welcome for all of us!
