I am a member of the Class of 1976. My senior year I had a class in one of the Nationality Rooms. I was eight months pregnant towards the end of the semester. Due to my size, I was unable to sit in the small student desks, so the professor traded seats with me. It was a small seminar-style class, so it felt normal at the time. It was an amazing time in my life. My 10 1/2-pound son was born two weeks after graduation.
