In late November 1977, I was in a freshman class in the Cathedral when it started to snow. Big flakes were falling like crazy. Suddenly, as the professor was speaking, a student stood up and walked to a small window and gazed outside. This fellow freshman, Hugh Green, was from Mississippi and had never seen snow before. He just watched it fall.
