As a high school student, I was eager to go to college but had no idea which school, or even the type of college environment (big, small, city, rural?) I wanted to experience. I will never forget stepping into the Cathedral of Learning on my first visit to Pitt and feeling both awe and a strong sense of connection. I knew at that moment that I would attend Pitt and spend a lot of time in that beautiful place. I also remember singing with the Pitt Women's Chorale as a freshman in the Cathedral on Lantern Night—a special tradition in that very special place.
