It's a proud experience I still share to this day! First term freshman year, 1986, and I had a class that taught us how to prepare for our future beyond Pitt. It was held in a very sunny classroom at the Cathedral of Learning and instructed by Ms. Mable Milner. I was paranoid of speaking in front of people but Ms. Milner had other plans. As the term went on she pushed everyone in the class in different ways. Thanks to Ms. Milner, I developed a confidence that term that I still have to this day. I have managed people at different levels, and have molded many individuals to succeed in their future with all the confidence in the world. All thanks to Ms. Milner and that sunny classroom at the Cathedral of Learning.
