My dad took me to Pitt football games when I was young. I had grown up seeing the Cathedral of Learning. The first time I stepped inside the Commons Room I was speechless. It amazed me that such a space existed, and right here in Pittsburgh. I could never imagine going anywhere except Pitt. And even though I have been in the Cathedral thousands of times, I am still as awestruck as I was so many years ago.
